Our newest favorite from them is their Zierfandler-Rotgipler White. Since its foundation in 1114 Klosterneuburg monastery has been growing wine and therefore is the oldest wine estate of Austria. The vineyards are situated in selected top locations in Klosterneuburg, Vienna, Gumpoldskirchen and Tattendorf. In\u003cspan style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-size: 15px;\"\u003e 2009 they became the first carbon neutral wine estate in Europe. T\u003c\/span\u003ehe estate has been growing the two native varieties 50% Zierfandler (Spätrot \"late red\") and 50% Rotgipfler for decades and has a light straw-yellow wine with a mineral, tropical nose.
